BAM's Hightech Slim Cello Case

 

weighs only 2,9 kg! BAM's Hightech Slim Cello Case is designed for a close fit to the instrument, which reduces the weight of the case whilst still offering outstanding protection. Its shell is made of the same patented high performance Hightech materials developed by BAM, but the density of the shell's core structure is increased while its thickness is reduced even more. The result is a very rigid, very light case (2.9kg / 6.4lbs) and yet it retains the same characteristics of its Hightech origins. This case offers a water and air tight seal, ease of opening and closing, convenient and comfortable straps, and full suspension of the instrument. A new design on the back also gives great balance to the case when laying flat.

BAM's Hightech Compact 3.5 Cello Case has all the characteristics of the Hightech 4.4 case in a smaller version with a lighter weight interior fabric. This case offers a water and air tight seal, ease of opening and closing, convenient and comfortable straps, and weighs only 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs).

The Hightech construction allows for the application of new finishes such as Brushed Aluminum and Tweed, but the Airex Core Keeps its original thickness ensuring excellent protection against shocks. The instrument remains totally suspended in BAM's high-resilience injected foam cushions (not adjustable).

BAM's unique HighTech shell is made from a combination
of high performance materials. Its three-layer structure
features an AIREX foam core sandwiched between an
extremely shock resistant metallized ABS exterior and a
thinner thermoplastic inner layer lined with soft velvet.


The shell is in three layers, with a center of AIREX, a very sturdy cellulose material.

The outer shell is of metalized ABS, the inner of thin linoleum. Because of the sandwich construction, there is a higher stability and it is at the same time lighter.

Large comfortable handles, shoulder straps, removable side pocket, removable music pocket, formed foam bedding for neck and spike.

Weight 4.4 kg.
